They were friendly, efficient and went over and above to make sure things went well for visitors and all the time with a cheerful attitude. Great value, perfect location - what more could you want. Best breakfast ever! Lovely hotel, lovely friendly staff, fantastic restaurant and separate cosy breakfast area where we ate the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel and I have stayed in hundreds.Genuinely superb value for what little I paid! Great location, great room, great bar, great breakfast.Great from the call to check reservation, even remembered me and gave me the same room. When travelling I try to stay in different places but this place keeps bringing me back.The room was spotless and comfortable, the staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful and the area is superb. Simply outstanding! Just spent a very pleasant 2 night midweek break at The New Northumbria Hotel and absolutely loved it.From the warm welcome to the spotless room to the fantastic breakfast everything was spot on and the staff couldn't do enough to help. We have just stayed at this hotel again and it never disappoints.We will definitely come back and stay here again! Becca S Laura-Ann in reception was so lovely and so helpful! And really made us feel welcome! The room was lovely and we slept like babies.The rooms are very clean, spacious and great facilities, perfect location and lots of restaurants, bars, shops around. I stay here every time I travel to Newcastle for work and I enjoy the stay every time. I would recommend this hotel to absolutely anyone. The restaurant at the hotel is amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed our abundant tapas meal. The receptionist, Laura-Ann, really goes over and above to provide a truly welcoming service for every visitor.
